# About FoundRole — AI Job Search & Career Tools

We're a small remote team with backgrounds in recruitment and software engineering. We built FoundRole because we kept watching the same pattern: job seekers start strong, but after 10+ applications, spreadsheets fail, follow-ups get missed, and promising leads disappear.

The question that drove us wasn't "how do we build another job board?" It was: what do job seekers actually need once they start applying?

They need a way to track every application. They need reminders that actually show up in their calendar. They need search tools that work with the AI assistants they already use. And they need career advice from people who've actually hired.

We guide job seekers through every stage of the journey: Find opportunities, Research companies, Prepare applications, Track progress, Interview with confidence, and Grow your career — all from one platform.

## What We Built

**Job Tracker** — A free Kanban board where every application lives. Drag cards through Saved, Applied, Interviewing, Offered, and Hired. Add notes, recruiter contacts, salary offers, and tags. Set reminders that arrive as emails with .ics calendar attachments.

**MCP Server** — The first job platform with full MCP integration. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP client to FoundRole. Your AI can search live jobs, save them to your tracker, update statuses, add notes, and set reminders — all through conversation. Many tools, OAuth 2.1 security, no API key required.

**Job Search** — Hundreds of thousands of quality-checked listings across 40+ industries, updated hourly. Filter by salary, location, remote options, and posting date.

**Browser Extension** — Save jobs from LinkedIn, Indeed, or any job board directly to your tracker without leaving the page.

**Career Blog** — Practical tips on resumes, interviews, salary negotiation, and market trends — written for people who are actively job searching.

## Our Approach

Everything is free today — no credit card walls, no paywalls. We may add premium features down the road, but the core tools will stay free.

We built FoundRole as an AI-native platform — not AI bolted onto an old product, but AI as the interface from day one.

We ship fast and fix things faster. Mobile apps are on the roadmap. The team is small enough to care about every bug report and every feature request.
